El Port
More about: Where to Eat, Blanes
Blanes is a working fishing port. The arrival of the fleet each afternoon is followed by a lively auction that attracts merchants and chefs from all around the region.
The town sports seafood restaurants galore, but you may want to make this a package deal. Watch the fleet arrive between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM (16:00 - 18:00), observe the action at the fish auction, and then eat some freshly caught fish at El Port, right there are the harbor.
That said, good seafood is also to be had at the open-air restaurants that line the promenade.
