The tourist office tells us that Anadauto Rent A Car is the only car rental place in the town of Blanes. Perhaps this explains the very poor treatment several customers reportedly received. We know. We were treated the same way. As a result we will never use or recommend this company to anyone.
Fortunately, there are good alternatives.
If you need to rent a car during your stay in Blanes, we strongly advise you to stay away from the above-mentioned car rental firm.
Instead, hire a car from one of several can rental companies in nearby Lloret de Mar. Most Lloret-based firms will pick you up and drop you off at hotels in Blanes at no extra cost.

Ah! So we were not the only ones! I won’t go into details, but agree with this article.
A tip: when we needed to rent a car, we took the ferry boat to Lloret. The kids really enjoyed that, as did we.
We rented our car from AVIS. Highly recommended!
