Road CLOSED in Blanes
More about: Blanes
You’d never think so when you visit during the summer, but during the winter months Blanes does experience its share of inclement weather.
Here’s a picture of the boulevard along S’Abanell — the aftermath of a big storm in January, 2008.
S’Abanell is is known as the longest beach at the Costa Brava, but after a couple of heavy storms there currently is hardly any sand left.
No worries, though. By the time your vacation starts, the beach will have been repaired.
