If you have spent any amount of time sunbathing on one of Blanes’ beautiful beaches, you’ll have a hard time imagining what some winter storms can do to the place:
That was Blanes after a serious storm at the beginning of January, 2008.
Have no fear, though. The beach is back, and you’ll never notice it was once gone:
By the way, that’s S’Abanell — the longest beach at the Costa Brava.
