Building on the 2007 Law on Housing Rights Catalonia’s government is now looking at measures to insure that those with a poor credit history, unemployment problems, and/or low income will be able to find a suitable place to live.
Its proposals include possible enforcement of a measure already passed: forcing landlords to rent out property that has been sitting empty for too long. Continue reading
