Man drowns in sea at Blanes; first fatality of 2009 summer
In the first fatality at the Costa Brava coast this summer, a man drowned off the coast of Blanes yesterday, Blanes police and the Mossos d'Esquadra report. 7 million Euros for repair of storm damage along Costa Brava coast
The Cabinet of Spain has made nearly €7 million available for repair work to be carried out along the beaches of the Costa Brava, in the province of Girona (Catalonia).The work is necessary to repair extensive storm damage to beaches and beachfront roads in Tossa de Mar, San Feliu de Guixols, Platja d'Aro, Sant Antoni de Calonge, Cadaqués, Port de la Selva, L'Escala and Blanes.
