Pizza is also served in the many tourist-oriented eateries along the boulevard the lines Platja de Blanes — the beach along the old town center.

But if you’re after good quality, prepared- and baked on the premises pizza, don’t just settle for the rest when you can have the best.

The folks at La Gondola, a family-run restaurant, have been making pizza and other Italian food for 30+ years. The locals know and love the place, and that’s always a good sign.

On busy nights you may have to wait for a table. But you won’t regret it.

Directions to Pizza Restaurant La Gondola, Blanes

You will find La Gondola’s pizzeria & restaurant on Passeig Mestrança, 80. It’s a pleasant, 10-minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya in the direction of the port.

Walk along the beach-front boulevard. The part without trees is Passeig Cortils i Vieta. Continue past the traffic lights and the crossing to Carrer Amplar. The part of the boulevard with rows of palm trees is called Passeig Pau Casals.

Past the sound stage (often the scene of concerts and the iconic Sardana dances), the boulevard changes names again. You are now walking on the tree-lined Passeig Mestrança. Here you will find of number of Blanes’ better-quality restaurants, including La Gondola.
