What to see in Blanes

We plan to add much information about things to see in Blanes and surrounding areas.

There are the botanical gardens, the sheltered coves, the miles of golden-sand beaches, the daily return of the fishing fleet (and the subsequent auctioning of the daily catch).

There is the beautiful coastline and the fantastic nature. You’ll want to visit the medieval buildings and ruins.

Barcelona is close by and easy to reach by train.

Tossa de Mar, with its awesome castle overlooking the sea, the bay and the village are easily reached by boat.

Check back here, for we will have specific information posted soon.

Thank you for using our Visit Blanes tourist guide. We trust you will have a wonderful holiday!

See Barcelona, and don't miss the Botanical Garden in Blanes

The Marimurtra Botanical Garden in Blanes is considered the best Mediterranean Botanical Garden in Europe. Founded by Karl Faust, the garden not only features 4000+ species of plants, but also provides gorgeous, panoramic views across the Mediterranean sea. Instagram, anyone?

Also, see the impressive La Sagrada Familia, beautiful Casa Batlló, and more masterful works by Antoni Gaudi on a tour through Barcelona.
